Here We Are

Myrtle House

The Pembrokeshire region of South Wales is home to some of the most spectacular coastline in the British Isles. At the heart of this charming and picturesque county can be found the ancient Walled Town of Tenby with its cobbled streets and picturesque harbour.

Myrtle House Hotel, a Grade Two Listed Building, is a family-run hotel run by Rob and Jan Evans and is ideally situated in St Mary’s Street within Tenby’s famous and ancient town walls. The southern end of this well-known “Floral Street” is just 25-yards from the hotel and opens onto beautiful panoramic views of the golden sands of South Beach, with fantastic views of Caldey Island (home to a Cistercian Monastery producing its own unique perfume and famous chocolate) and St Catherine’s Island with its ancient fort. The sun-set over St Catherine’s is truly spectacular.

Situated only a few minutes walk away from the picturesque harbour with its pastel coloured houses and the town centre with its shops and many restaurants and public houses all offering a good choice of quality food and beverages.

Rob and Jan offer a traditional full English breakfast menu. Vegetarian diets are also catered for and as Rob likes to tell our guests “you won’t need any lunch”.

We have a very good reputation at Myrtle House for looking after our guests and try our utmost to ensure that all our guests have a lovely stay.

We have just achieved a Certificate of Excellence of 4.5 Stars out of 5 and indeed in June of 2010 were voted the number one hotel out of 70 hotels in Pembrokeshire a fact of which we are very proud ( view our current rating here ).
